7.2 Engineers' alarm

 In addition to manual operation from the machinery space, the engineers' alarm on vessels with periodically unattended machinery spaces should operate when the machinery alarm is not accepted in the machinery spaces or control room in a specified period of time, e.g. 2 minutes.
