Regulation 31 - Openings in “B” class divisions

31.1 Air balance ducts below sanitary units leading through corridor bulkheads

 Alternatively, a non-combustible air balance duct arrangement between a cabin and a corridor which is located below the sanitary unit leading through the corridor bulkhead is permitted in order to achieve air balance of supply and exhaust air for the cabin under the condition that the cross-sectional area of the duct does not exceed 0.05 m2.
