5 Corrosion Model

5.1 Net thickness

5.1.1 General

The fatigue assessment should be performed based on net thicknesses according to Ch 3, Sec 2.

5.1.2 Stress correction

The hull girder stresses for simplified stress analysis and stresses calculated by FE analysis are to be corrected by multiplying the calculated stress by fc, correction factor taken as:

fc = 0.95
