Annex - Amendments to the 2014 Guidelines on the Method of Calculation of the Attained Energy Efficiency Design Index (EEDI) for New Ships (Resolution MEPC.245(66))

 Paragraph 2.6 is replaced with the following:

  • ".6 Vref, Capacity and P should be consistent with each other. As for LNG carriers having diesel electric or steam turbine propulsion systems, Vref is the relevant speed at 83% of MPPMotor or MCRSteamTubine respectively. "
