1 Scope

 SOLAS regulations II-2/15.2.10, II-2/15.3 and II-2/15.4 require that all surfaces with temperatures above 220°C (430°F), which may be impinged as a result of fuel oil, lubricating oil and other flammable oil system failure be properly insulated. This appendix provides guidance to comply with these regulations.
