39.1 Recognised codes and standards for wellhead equipment

39.1.1 The following codes and standards are recognised by LR:
  • API Spec 6A & ISO 10423 Wellhead and Christmas Tree: Equipment
  • API Std 6X Design Calculations for Pressure-containing Equipment
  • API Spec 14A Subsurface Safety Valve Equipment
  • API RP 14B/ISO 10417 Design, Installation, Operation, Test, and Redress of Subsurface Safety Valve Systems
  • API Spec 17D/ISO 13628-4 Design and Operation of Subsea Production Systems-Subsea Wellhead and Tree Equipment
  • ISO 13628-4 Petroleum and natural gas industries – Design and operation of subsea production systems – Part 4: Subsea wellhead and tree equipment
