Annex - Draft Amendments to the International Safety Management Code

  - Replace the paragraph 13.2 by:

  • “13.2 A document of compliance should be issued for every Company complying with the requirements of the ISM Code by the Administration, by an organisation recognised by the Administration or by the Government of the country, at the request of the Administration, in which the Company has chosen to conduct its business. This document should be accepted as evidence that the Company is capable of complying with the requirements of the Code."

  - In section 7 of the Code, after word “instructions", insert “including checklists".
