Circular

 A communication has been received from the Administration of Liberia concerning the application of relevant provisions under MARPOL Annex I revised regulation 13G(5) and (7) (now regulation 20.5 and 20.7) and new regulation 13H(5), (6) and (7) (now regulation 21.5, 21.6 and 21.7.

 In accordance with the provisions of the revised regulation 13G(8)(a) and (b) (now regulation 20.8) and regulation 13H(8)(a) and (b) (now regulation 21.8.1 and 21.8.2) of MARPOL Annex I, the above-mentioned communication, annexed hereto, is circulated to the Parties to the Convention for their information and appropriate action, if any.
