inerted with the cargo tank atmosphere at a positive pressure of not
less than 100 mm water gauge having an oxygen level not exceeding
8% by volume especially during tank cleaning.
5.8.2 Before any inert gas is introduced into
cargo tanks to maintain a positive pressure it should be established
that the inert gas contains not more than 5% by volume of oxygen.
