Following any of the postulated damages detailed in 2.6.6 to 2.6.11, in addition to satisfying
the requirements of 2.6.12 and 2.6.13, the craft in still water shall
have sufficient buoyancy and positive stability to simultaneously
ensure that the angle of inclination of the craft from the horizontal
does not normally exceed 15° in any direction. However, where
this is clearly impractical, angles of inclination up to 20° immediately
after damage but reducing to 15° within 15 minutesfootnote may be permitted provided that efficient
non-slip deck surfaces and suitable holding points are provided.
