 The annex of this document has been consolidated into MSC/Circ.1120

1 The Maritime Safety Committee, at its ninety-fourth session (17 to 21 November 2014), with a view to facilitating consistent implementation of paragraph 2.3.2.3 of chapter 14 of the FSS Code upon entry into force of the related amendments adopted by resolution MSC.339(91), approved unified interpretations on positioning of the aftermost foam monitors, prepared by the Sub-Committee on Ship Systems and Equipment at its first session, as set out in the annex, in the form of amendments to MSC/Circ.1120.

  2 Member Governments are invited to use the unified interpretations set out in the annex as guidance when applying paragraph 2.3.2.3 of chapter 14 of the FSS Code and to bring them to the attention of all parties concerned.
