Scope

This Chapter details the requirements for installations and equipment selection to minimise the risk of ignition of explosive gas or dust atmospheres.

Application of this Chapter will facilitate the verification of the performance requirements of ANEP-77 NATO Naval Ship Code, Chapter IV, Regulation 21 (in conjunction with Vol 2, Pt 9, Ch 11 Gas detection.
