Regulation 7 - Issue or Endorsement of certificates

  (1)

  • (a) An International Fishing Vessel Safety Certificate shall be issued after survey to a vessel which complies with the applicable requirements of this annex.

  • (b) When an exemption is granted to a vessel under, and in accordance with, the provisions of this annex, an International Fishing Vessel Exemption Certificate shall be issued in addition to the certificate prescribed in subparagraph (a).

  (2) The certificates referred to in paragraph (1) shall be issued or endorsed either by the Administration or by any person or organization duly authorized by the Administration. In every case, the Administration shall assume full responsibility for the issue of the certificates.
