5.5 Testing, marking, examination and certification

 All lashings and components used for the securing of the timber deck cargo should be tested, marked, examined and certified, as per the guidelines in MSC/Circ.745 (27), and be specific to the requirements for lashing and components outlined in 5.1.2 and 5.1.3.
