Circular

  1 The Maritime Safety Committee, at its seventy-ninth session (1 to 10 December 2004), approved an amendment to the Guidelines for the design, construction and operation of passenger submersible craft (MSC/Circ.981) regarding the date of completion of the survey on which the Safety Compliance Certificate is based, the text of which is set out in the annex.

  2 Member Governments are invited to bring the annexed amendment to the attention of all parties concerned and to apply them when issuing Safety Compliance Certificates for passenger submersible craft.
