27.5.6 Exemptions for pilot boats (see 25.6.1 )

 The MCA, acting on behalf of the Secretary of State, may exempt a pilot boat from all or any of the requirements of the Code as may be specified in the exemption on such terms (if any) as may be specified if the MCA is satisfied that compliance with such requirements is either impracticable or unreasonable in the case of that pilot boat and may, subject to giving reasonable notice, alter or cancel any such exemption.
