Circular

  1 The Maritime Safety Committee, at its eighty-seventh session (12 to 21 May 2010), approved MSC.1/Circ.1371 on List of codes, recommendations, guidelines and other safety- and security-related non-mandatory instruments. In approving the circular, the Committee agreed to the process for updating the list through the issuance of annual circulars listing only amendments to the list and instructed sub-committees to review specific extracts of the list, as prepared by the Secretariat, every four years, for subsequent approval of a revised consolidated list by the Committee.

  2 The annex contains the amendments to the lists annexed to MSC.1/Circ.1371 and Add.1, as prepared by the Secretariat in accordance with the aforementioned process approved by the Committee.

  3 Member Governments are invited to bring this circular to the attention of all parties concerned.
