Circular

  1 The Maritime Safety Committee, at its eighty-seventh session (12 to 21 May 2010), approved MSC.1/Circ.1371 on List of codes, recommendations, guidelines and other safetyand security-related non-mandatory instruments. In approving the circular, the Committee also agreed to the process for updating of the list by the Secretariat with the issuance of further annual circulars only listing amendments to the list and instructed sub-committees to review specific extracts of the list, as prepared by the Secretariat, every four years, for subsequent approval of a revised consolidated list by the Committee.

  2 Attached as the annex to this circular are amendments to the list contained in MSC.1/Circ.1371, prepared by the Secretariat in accordance with the aforementioned process approved by the Committee.

  3 Member Governments are invited to bring this circular to the attention of all parties concerned.
