7 Information provided during the course of an emergency

  7.1 At the assembly station, passengers should be given factual information on the nature of the emergency, and the steps being taken to deal with the emergency. Poorly informed persons may take inappropriate actions. If necessary, passengers should be prepared and organised to abandon ship. Passengers should remain at assembly stations until otherwise directed.
