34.1 Recognised codes and standards for safety of machinery

34.1.1 The following codes and standards are recognised by LR:
  • ISO 12100 Safety of machinery - General principles for design - Risk assessment and risk reduction
  • ISO 13849 series Safety of machinery – Safety-related parts of control systems
  • ISO 13850 Safety of machinery - Emergency stop - Principles for design
  • ISO 14122 Safety of machinery - Permanent means of access to machinery
  • ISO 21789 Gas turbine applications – Safety
