13.8 Display and Illumination

  13.8.1 Navigational instruments should be so placed in a craft, and of such a design, that information from them is easily and readily available to the navigator or, where no navigator is carried, to the person in immediate charge of the craft without movement from the control station.

  13.8.2 Suitable illumination should be provided to permit reading of navigational instruments.
