8.8.3 The control systems should be such that
the services needed for the operation of the main propulsion machinery
and its auxiliaries are ensured through the necessary automatic arrangements.
8.8.4 Means should be provided to keep the starting
air pressure at the required level where internal combustion engines
are used for main propulsion.
8.8.5 An alarm system complying with section 8.7
should be provided for all important pressures, temperatures and fluid
levels and other essential parameters.
