(1) A daylight signalling lamp shall be provided,
the operation of which is not solely dependent upon the mail source
of electrical power. The power supply shall in any case include a
portable battery.
(2) Vessels of 45 m in length and over shall be
provided with a full complement of flags and pennants to enable communications
to be sent using the International Code of Signals.
(3) All vessels which, in accordance with the
present Protocol, are required to carry radio installations shall
carry the International Code of Signals. This publication shall also
be carried by any other vessel which, in the opinion of the Administration,
has a need to use it.
