11.2.1 The continuous improvement process as part of the quality assurance system shall take
                                 account of the findings from operational and non-operational experience and feedback
                                 with a view to: 
                              
                              
                              
                              
                                 - further improvements in the design, operating procedures and instructions for
                                    use; 
                                 
 
                                 - further improvements to the maintenance of existing appliances in service; 
 
                                 - an adjustment of inspection intervals; and 
 
                                 - an adjustment of scheduled maintenance and replacements of parts.
 
                              
                              
                              
                            
                           
                           
                           
                              
                              
                              11.2.2 The operational and non-operational experience and feedback may be provided through
                                 the designer’s/manufacturer’s own experiences and/or provided by the appliance’s
                                 Owner and/or Operator, maintainers, inspectors/Surveyors and competent persons.
