The Marine Environment Protection Committee,

 A communication has been received from the Administration of the United States concerning its implementation plan to prepare United States flagged vessels trading internationally for the entry into force of Annex IV of MARPOL 73/78.

 At the request of the Administration of the United States, the above-mentioned communication is circulated to Member States for their information.
