LR II.1 General

These Rules have been prepared to ensure that ships for the carriage of liquefied gases in bulkfootnote built with a view to classification with LR, will also comply with the requirements of the IMO International Code for the Construction and Equipment of Ships Carrying Liquefied Gases in Bulkfootnote as interpreted by LR, except as provided for in LR II.4 of this introduction.
