20.1 Recognised codes and standards for geotechnical and geophysical positioning

20.1.1 The following codes and standards are recognised by LR:
  • API RP 2GEO/ISO 19901-4 Geotechnical and Foundation Design Considerations
  • IMCA S 015 Guidelines for GNSS based positioning systems in the oil and gas industry
  • IMCA S 017 Guidance on vessel USBL systems for use in offshore survey and positioning operations
  • IMCA S 024 Guidance on satellite-based positioning systems for offshore applications
  • ISO 13626 Petroleum and natural gas industries – Drilling and production equipment – Drilling and well-servicing structures
