30 Safety Management

 30.1 All vessels operating under this code are recommended to implement a Safety Management System (SMS) which complies with the principles of the ISM Code, but is commensurate with the size and complexity of the vessels and company’s operations. See Appendix 7 for details of the areas which should be addressed by a SMS.
