3.2 Allowable stresses

 The allowable normal and shear stresses σa and τa, in N/mm2, in the side shell frames are given by:

  • σa = 0.90 σF

    τa = 0.40 σF

where σF is the minimum upper yield stress, in N/mm2, of the material.
