LR A-1-02 Class notation and descriptive note

 LR A-1-02a Ships complying with the requirements of Part A and Part A-1 of Rules and Regulations for the Classification of Ships using Gases or other Low-flashpoint Fuels and fuelled by natural gas (NG) will be eligible for assignment of the LFPF(GF,NG) notation.

LR A-1-02b Ships complying with the requirements of Part A of the Rules and Regulations for the Classification of Ships using Gases or other Low-flashpoint Fuels and particular requirements of Part A-1 of the Rules and Regulations for the Classification of Ships using Gases or other Low-flashpoint Fuels in preparation to be fuelled by natural gas (NG) will be eligible for assignment of the GR(NG,A), GR(NG,S), GR(NG,T), GR(NG,P), GR(NG,E) descriptive notes (or combination thereof). See Pt 1, Ch 2, 2.8 Descriptive notes 2.8.7 of the Rules and Regulations for the Classification of Ships for reference to descriptive characters A, S, T, P and E.
