Circular

1 The Maritime Safety Committee at its ninety-sixth session (11 to 20 May 2016) and the Marine Environment Protection Committee at its seventieth session (24 to 28 October 2016) approved the Example of a certificate of protection for products requiring oxygen-dependent inhibitors (as required by paragraph 15.13.3 of the IBC Code), prepared by the Sub-Committee on Pollution Prevention and Response, at its third session, as set out in the annex.

2 Member States are invited to bring the attached Example to the attention of Administrations, recognized organizations, port authorities, shipowners, ship operators, shippers/manufacturers and other parties concerned.
