Section 1 General

1.1 Application

1.1.1 This Chapter is applicable to all ship types and components.

1.1.2 Requirements are given in this Chapter for the following:

  1. Weld scantlings, weld procedures, workmanship and weld details.

  2. End connection scantlings and constructional details for stiffening members.

  3. Primary member proportions, stiffening and construction details.

1.2 Symbols

1.2.1 Symbols are defined as necessary in each Section.
