3.1 Materials for forgings

3.1.1 Details of materials for rotors and discs are to be submitted for approval.

3.2 Material tests and inspection

3.2.1 Components are to be tested in accordance with the relevant requirements of the Rules for the Manufacture, Testing and Certification of Materials, July 2022 (hereinafter referred to as the Rules for Materials).

3.2.2 For components of novel design, special consideration will be given to the material test and non-destructive testing requirements.
