Section 4 Wet-deck

4.1 General

4.1.1 Two design pressures are to be calculated for each item on the wet-deck; a combined pressure and an impact pressure.

4.2 Combined pressure

4.2.1 The distribution of pressure acting on the wet-deck due to static and dynamic load components is to be taken as P des, where z corresponds to the height of the underside of the wet-deck, as described in Table 5.3.1 Combined Pressure Distribution .

4.3 Impact pressure

4.3.1 The design impact pressure is to be taken as IP wi, calculated according to Vol 1, Pt 5, Ch 5, 2.5 Wave impact pressure above waterline.
