Section 14 In-service assessment

14.1 General

14.1.1 Any damage, defect, etc. is to be reported to LR without delay, see Pt 1, Ch 2, 1.7 Legislative verification.

14.1.2 All repairs and other measures are to be agreed with LR, see Pt 1, Ch 2, 3.4 Damages, repairs and alterations.

14.1.3 Details of an acceptable procedure for the assessment of structural defects in service are outlined in the LR ShipRight Procedure for Ship Units.
