Section 7 Internal decks

7.1 General

7.1.1 This Section contains local scantling requirements applicable to the internal decks. All internal decks are to be evaluated according to Vol 1, Pt 6, Ch 4, 7.2 Minimum requirements.

7.2 Minimum requirements

7.2.1 If the Complementary Rules are the Rules for Naval Ships then the scantlings of plating and stiffeners are to be in accordance with Vol 1, Pt 3, Ch 2, 3.7 Deck structure of the Rules for Naval Ships.

7.2.2 If the Complementary Rules are the Rules for Ships then the scantlings of plating and stiffeners are to be in accordance with Pt 4, Ch 1, 9 Bulkheads of the Rules for Ships.

7.2.3 If the Complementary Rules are the Rules for Special Service Craft then the scantlings of plating and stiffeners are to be in accordance with Pt 4, Ch 1, 9 Bulkheads of the Rules for Ships.
