4.2.1 The
SWL of the fixed cargo securing fitting is to be used as the design
load when approving the weld attachments and the support structure
of the fixed cargo securing fitting.
4.2.3 When
considering the loads, all expected directions of operation are to
be taken into account.
4.2.4 Stresses induced in the weld attachments, supporting structure, cell guides
and other structures serving as fixed cargo securing points, determined using the design
loads as defined in Pt 3, Ch 14, 4.2 Strength 4.2.1 to Pt 3, Ch 14, 4.2 Strength 4.2.3, are not to exceed the permissible values given in
Table 14.4.1 Permissible stress values.
